Prayers and Support for Hydrogen

    Hello everyone. You may know me as Rob's (aka Hydrogen here) partner.

    I would like to ask everyone to pray for Rob to recover quickly. This afternoon he was in a car wreck. He will be fine, however it will take him a long time to recover. He broke 3 ribs, left arm, lower left leg, and crushed his left ankle. Also, Rob's FTO was in the car, and suffered a broken arm (don't know which).

    So, if you could take the time, even if you are not religious to send some warm wishes there way, I would applicate it.

    Right now, I am trying to make plans to go down and see him, since I still here in Alabama. It looks like I wont be able to get there until Friday or Saturday. I have talked to him, and although he is drugged out of his mind and groggy he is doing fine. I am trying to get the whole story of what happened, but all I know so far is the car collided with the center barrier, and flipped landing on Rob's side.

    I will keep everyone updated.

    Here's to you, Rob! I know I never really talked to you on here, but I hope you recover as quickly as you can and that everyone here at EC wants you to get well soon!

    I am not a religious person but Rob will be in my heart and in my thoughts. I will send him all my good vibes hoping that he will make as speedy recovery as he can.

    Wow - sounds like it could have been a lot worse too - so someone may already be looking out for him!

    I'll put in a good word anyway though! I hope he get's well soon.

    Thank you everyone for your support.

    Just a quick update -

    I will be going down on Friday to see him, so he is happy about that. Right now we are just calling each other every hour or so, it is kinda funny to talk to him when he is so drugged, and some of his family has already made it down there to make him feel better.

    This morning the traffic investigator sent me photo's of the accident, I have attached the one that shows just how bad this could have been. (the car after being dragged off the road)

    I also found out that they were responding to call about a child being hit by a car at a bus stop out, and while responding a truck failed to yield and came into their lane, causing the car to swerve and hit the highway divider head on.

    (Also, the kid at the bus stop only had scrapes and bruises, she will be fine.)
