"Alright. Don't worry about getting them mixed up. I get mixed up as to who's which."

 

"Just take that over there." John said, motioning to an area that appeared to be for deliveries. "Would you like payment?" He asked, smiling.

"Just give John and Lewis some time to gear up fully." Sir Karnik said, turning to a training dummy and hefting her staff as one would a spear. It shot out incredibly fast, striking the dummy with force that could dent most metals, enough to disable someone in full plate armour. The accuraacy was uncanny too, a direct shot to right above the sternum. If it hit a person there'd be little chance of surviving besides magic that could heal major damage to cartilage and bone. Such magic was hard to find.

 

Sir Karnik walked over and collected her staff. It seemed like it was locked in space, unaffected by gravity before she took it in hand and put her hand on the training dummy's chest. Over a few seconds, the lifeless dummy 'healed', the wood and ceramic growing back together.

 

Lewis went over to Kaylen, putting an arm around his shoulder. "So, how are you doing?" He asked, looking over at the demigod with bright blue eyes.

[Hmm... Maybe someone in the bandit gang, or one who's already there and has killed them when Lewis, John and Kaylen get there?]

 

[Ooo, bad idea. They make it past that wall and things won't be good for them. Remember the circle?]

John noticed and heard the horses in the distance, looking over from his place nearby the gate. He smiled, walking to the opening in the low stone wall that made up the front entrance. Grey eyes flashed in eagerness. Whether it was friend or foe, it would be interesting.

[Also, remember their eyes. Blue is calamitas, grey is casus.]

 

"Well, how are you?" Lewis asked as John smiled.

"So, what's your business here? You don't look like employees here or the standard message-bearers." He questioned, ready to attack if there was any sign of violence.

 

Do you know which one I am?" He asked Kaylen, smirking a little beneath blue eyes.

"Sir Karnik's right in the training grounds. Why're you here?" The other asked Blake.

 

The twin grinned and stepped back for them. "Oh please, step in. Our master will accommodate you into her kingdom." He said, his voice having a sadistic note to it, daring Blake over that circle.
