When did you get your first girlfriend/boyfriend?

    I think I've lost all hope in finding a girlfriend, it seems that I only fall for my best friends whom are all STRAIGHT. Sad, sad life. Anyway, I'd like to know your guys' stories! At what age did you find your first love? or might I say, first date? and how did it happen?

    Still waiting at age 46... Shouldn't rush these things, I guess. :lol: In my case, though, a big factor is that there are practical issues that make dating a difficult proposition. (Particularly lousy cash flow.)

    11 but it was an unofficial kind of thing... Basically every summer when I was a kid, my parents would take me and my siblings to cape cod for the summer..I liked to isolate myself in the woods close near the beach and a girl who lived there used to meet me in the same spot since I was 8. Unfortunately, after she confessed her love and we were a coupe for a whole summer, the next summer when I was 12 she wasn't there.. I would visit the same spot every summer until I was 14. I guess I kept my hopes up for a while... :/

    Around 13 or 14. First relationship was with a girl. Kind of my awakening. We were texting one day and she told me she liked me and had kinda asked me out. I immediately got flushed. I went to ask one of my best friends what I do because she's far more experienced than me. I was like "plEASE HELP I THINK I LIKE HER TOO BUT I'VE NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT A RELATIONSHIP AND I HAD NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT ONE WITH A GIRL WHAT DO".

    So yea, that's how that happened. I've gained more of a cool since then, but believe me when I say I'm still a mega dork about it.

    I was 12 or so, and it was my first online relationship. We did pretty well, and then he ghosted on me. I don't know where he is now or if he's still alive, because he was pretty open about being in a gang so anything could have happened.

    A girl at school, and we were 15. We started out as friends, she eventually hinted around about being interested in a physical relationship with a girl instead of a boy. I felt an attraction to her and was curious but too afraid to make the first move. This relationship was also my first sexual experience with someone else, and it was great while it lasted.

    I had a girlfriend when I was 10. I don't know if it counts, since we never saw each other outside of school. We actually got married on the playground at recess, with a 3rd grader serving as minister for the service.

    I'm actually in a bit of a relationship right now. It's a strange relationship for "normal" relationships but it's pretty much he's my dominant master and I'm his sub boy. You could say that technically he is my boyfriend. It's my first relationship with any guy.
