xxCHOATIC mentioned the Lunar series. Lunar 2: Eternal Blue for the first Playstation is my favorite RPG. Ah, nostalgia.

I think my favorite game is The Last of Us. It has the best interactive storytelling I've ever experienced. I like Naughty Dog's Uncharted series, too.

For multiplayer, I like the first Halo and Capcom vs. Snk 2...two very different games.

I don't think I've ever met another person who played lunar.

Voice actor blooper reels need to be a standard thing.

I don't have one favorite, but many favorites.
I would say when I was younger, Shadow of the Colossus for PS2 or Super Mario Sunshine for Gamecube...... Or Super Mario 64 for N64. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: OH GOD AND KINGDOM HEARTS 2. xD

I would say now that I'm older, as other people have said, the three Bioshocks are phenomenal. So is the new Tomb Raider. Binding of Isaac Rebirth and Team Fortress 2 are also long lasting favorites as well.

    Heavy Rain is a masterpiece.

I also love LA Noire, and Vampire the Masquerade:Bloodlines.

And all of the Elder Scrolls games... especially Morrowind. I'm planning on getting a few Elder Scrolls themed tattoos in the near future.

atm Rayman Origins. The best 2D platformer in a long long time.

I could talk for hours about it but I'll just highlight some points:
    • Snappy platforming. Platforming is so hard to get right. But daaaamn if they didn't get it right. It just feels good to play. When you mess up, it your fault, not the controls.
    • Inspired design. This game is so jam packed with creativity. There's so much going on visually all of the time. I can't even begin to explain how much effort is evident in the game design.
    • Amazing ost I've played through this game many times but the music somehow still isn't annoying. And it would be soo easy for the Lums' singing to be grating and dreadful but it always fits in really well nd is supportive instead of destructive to the instrumentals. The ost is extremely varied in style, but always captivating.

Hard to choose... Fallout 3 and Skyrim would be my top contenders yet I did love Kotor 1 and 2. My childhood favorite was probably Halo 1 and 2

Have you played Rayman Legends? I have Origins too but Legends was very hard to put down. Nothing like running along to a mariachi version of Eye of the Tiger.

Before I got a WiiU, I demoed it in stores what seems like a thousand times in-store. The levels that I tried had fantastic flow to them, and were fairly fast paced in a very fun way. But that now I'm super curious about the mariachi Eye of the Tiger!

I will definitely pick it up next time I'm in the city :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    Lolno.

It was entertaining and all, but masterpiece it is not. It's full of plotholes and lazy storytelling, the worst of which is how Ethan early in the game blacks out and finds an origami figure in his hand. What was that about? It was never explained and literally only happened so that players would only suspect Ethan and nobody else. They did similar bullshit and pretty much outright lied to hide the identity of the actual killer who would have been very obvious as the killer without these lies. Had David Cage been half as good a storyteller as he himself thinks he is, he would not have needed to write in these types of lies to hide the identity of the killer and done a much more graceful plot twist.

Grand Theft Auto has always been a favorite of mine. Something about being able to run around causing unlimited mayhem with my friends every now and then was just so much fun.

I thought about saying Mario 3. I remember playing that growing up, I especially remember the disappointment of losing your tanooki suit over a stupid platforming mistake.

Yes! I love Grand Theft Auto, I used to play it all the time when I was really small. I remember I had some mall cop game too, basically you steal something and there's a mall cop chasing you around, I don't remember what it was called though :eusa_doh:

Based on playtime, FIFA. I can't even hazard a guess as to how many hours I've devoted to various versions of that game.

I'm a big Halo fan, and I play a lot of Destiny at the moment!

In terms of gut feeling though, Last of Us is soooo good. Hard to beat, really.
