How often do you use bad words?

I have nothing against "dirty" words and people who use them; I think our society puts these words above violence when it comes to what is "inappropriate" for kids. That is stupid. Violence is much worse.
But I don't use them unless I'm angry.

 

nah i dont use shit language that often, its just fuckin impolite ya know? im out eating with my family and someone starts swearing and im like you fucking cuntmuffin im fucking trying to fucking eat with my damn family would you mind holding your bitch-ass trap shut until ive finished my salad? jesus christ you lil prick just shut the hell up. uwu

 

Quite often. I'm usually at both ends of the spectrum on.. oh.. everything. So sometimes I use none at all, and other times I keep it flowing.

 

I'm a bit of a potty mouth. ^^;

I curse a lot around friends, but never with my family or people that I'm not too close with... so pretty much what The Escapist said: All or nothing.

 

Always, unless I'm around my family.

 

I used to, all the time, but have now replaced it with old fashioned curses and exclamatory phrases: Good lord!, I say!, That's mighty!, Goodness!, Great Scott!, Damnation!, Curses!, Poppycock!, Oh my!, That's fantastic! (To clarify, decades ago 'fantastic' meant 'absurdly, insultingly ridiculous and false', used normally when you were accused of something that sounded insultingly unlikely and out of character and inferring that the accusation could be dismissed immediately for being completely without merit).

 

Depends who I'm with.

I have two 'switches'. A more formal/mature side, and a more immature/informal side. I have a potty mouth when I'm mot informal. The communities I grew up in were fishing towns, so I can pretty much literally say I've got a sailor's tongue.

I'm always cursing in my mind. Though I can filter it if I need to.

 

Daily. I might just be driving somewhere and mutter one to myself about something or another.

If I'm talking to someone who uses them, and most of my friends do, then it will be a given that I will use them during that conversation.

I don't think they are a problem!

 

A lot less recently but usually all the time it helps let some of the anger out haha

 

Every sentence. Gets higher when I'm dealing with terrible people.

To be honest I don't think that I swear that much, I don't think that I swear much at all... BUT (a big but)... I know if you recorded me throughout a whole day you would find that I swear alot and I mean ALOT haha, I'm a mess :lol:.

Rarely... If I use it I must be pretty upset.

Other than during hockey games (Fucking-- Shoot! Shoooooot! Godfucking patin! Fuck me, Moses! Fuck-- Fucking goon! Ya damn filthy goon! Shit on a stick, are you gonna goddamn skate! Jesus Murphy, shooooooot!) I like to think that I keep my swearing at an appropriate level.

 

I do swear, although the only time I really do so excessively is for comedic effect. Like others said it loses its power if you do it constantly. We used to have neighbours when I was growing up whose entire vocabulary was based on the word 'fuck'. I used to joke that when they got up in the morning they would greet each other with:
"Good fucking morning. What the fuck should I have for fucking breakfast? Shall I have fucking jam on fucking toast or some fucking cereal? Oh look! The weather looks fucking lovely today!" etc.

Online, the only curse I really try to avoid using is the C-word. I don't have a problem with it myself unless it's used in a misogynistic manner, but some seem to be more offended by it than others.

I do swear but not so much out loud or in public. (Though honestly I can't tell and that's debatable) I certainly swear a lot more inside my head haha

 

I swear so much, it's second nature. I have to really think to hold it back if I need to, and with three sibling under the age of ten I need to. But I make up for it with that 'inner voice' I got going on. I tell ya, he has a problem.
