    Has anyone played the Shadow Hearts series? First and last ones weren't that good. Second one was by the one of the best games on the PS2, I think; A great story, lovable cast of characters, plenty of side quests to keep you entertained and a surprising twist ending. And as an added bonus, there's even some questionably gay characters on there. :wink:

    I'm going with the .hack// series. Both the original set and G.U., I've been a long time fan. The music and plot line was always what attracted me to it. Tbh, with the advent of the oculus rift, I'd like to see an actual .hack// type MMO, I'd be willing to save up and shell out the money for the equipment.

    The best game for PlayStation 2 in my opinion is Fatal Frame, just love that video game.
    There are still some really good like Resident Evil 4, God of War, but Fatal Frame just has that special feeling and memories! :grin:

    * Action: God Of War II
    * Adventure: Okami
    * Beat 'Em Up: Viewtiful Joe
    * Fighting: Soul Calibur II
    * Music: Guitar Hero II
    * Platformer: Megaman X8, Jak 3
    * Racing: Burnout 3: Takedown
    * RPG: Kingdom Hearts II (haven't played FFX)
    * Sandbox: GTA: Vice City
    * Shooter: Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal (hybrid with platformer, though)
    * Stealth: Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence
