pet names for boyfriend/girlfriend

This came to mind because my girlfriend has started calling me angel (which I love) so I was trying to think of a name for her. I think I've decided on Sunshine, now I have to wait and see if she likes it. So now, my question is: do any of you guys use pet names/ have used pet names in the past? Post the best or the dumbest ones!

PS: I searched for a thread like this and didn't see one, so sorry if it's been done before.

Well i called my ex- girlfriend honey and she called me babe, nothing unusual or that special but a friend of mine's ex called him "bubby" and she'd use an odd child like voice when she did it... It was kind of sickening to be honest lol.

 

We've got names for each other, but the whole point of pet names is that they're private, between us. So I won't tell you what they are. But I will say that both of them came about because we were making fun of how dumb some pet names were, and so we picked totally weird ones to call each other. And then, somehow, we grew to actually using them as pet names. I know one that I tried out and rejected was "my little BacoBit".

I was seeing a girl for awhile with the last name Min, so I called her max. I'm pretty sure it was my subconscious attempting to make her more masculine :dry:. Her name for me; Green Bean. I have no idea what it was supposed to mean, but it always made me laugh.

 

Fastfood was my ex's choice.

"Hello me little burger bun"
"Hiyaa me little french fry"
"Ello nugget"

Most recent ex called me Honeydew, inspired by a hilarious night at the cinema's and making endless jokes about melon fetishes, evidently i ended up calling him Foot.

Previous to that my favourite was "Kid". From when I was much younger (he was even younger) and I said something about feeling like a pedo so he attempted roleplay and make me the kid! It stuck because someone walked in on us and THEY started calling me Kid ><

 

In the past, I've been called "kitten" (I hated that one with a passion), and Bug (which I don't mind so much). I'm not really a fan of pet names, but I do make exceptions.

My ex named my cough and it was ok "princess sophia" was a little weird but it was cool. And me it was usually something to do with "hippie"! I like pet names, I miss them now.

Bryan likes to call me Moose or Moosey, and the first one everyone calls me, bcuz of my last name. But Moosey is unique for him I think its cute XD

 

I've been called Babe, which I didn't like that much.
Helen calls me Jazzfordshire, which I love. XD
I was called princess by a boyfriend once, because of my name. I didn't like it that much. XD
Although that could have been because it was a boyfriend.

I don't usually call people pet names - I can't think of any. I'm sure I will when I get a girlfriend though. XD

Well he calls me Pirate (Butt-pirate) and I call him cowboy.
Also, we call eachother "babe". it's cute.

This one time I was crushing on a girl. Before I ever realized I was gay... Anyway I used to call her Flower. XD

Heh, that's funny, as I call my boyfriend "Bubby," and usually in a very childlike manner... Without going into details about our relationship, knowing what I know makes me wonder some stuff about your friend... :dry:

 

A girl in band named my.... region of manlyness.... Tom... She thought it was hilarious...

(Tom and Jerry... oh she was a clever one...)


other then that I'm just babe... or honey... or jerrbear.... things along those lines... although Coop calls me "The Other Woman" for completely different reasons.
