I got to this forum by accident, im 18 years old and still in the closet, I never had the courage to even join a forum of this kind until this very moment...maybe because I didnt want to know, maybe because I didnt want to realize my situation but fact is, im here now and would love to talk and share my thoughts with new people. As you can tell im still in the closet....anyhow youll get to hear my thing with time...cheers

Just wanted to say hello and welcome to the forum.I am glad you have found the nerve to sign up to the site. One of the hardest things we ever have to do is admit who we are to ourselves and it can be quite scary at times. I hope you enjoy the adventure.

Hey Stew, Thanks for the welcome....and yes it was difficult to actually admit to myself, its a proccess that has started several months ago and now is complete (at least I think so), I hope ill enjoy the adventure too!

hey rom! it's nice to see a new face around here. i'm sure we've all felt the same way that you do, and it is pretty hard to take the plunge of acceptance, but once you do, you'll find it's a lot of fun on the other side. and of course, we'll all be here to help each other along.

I know one of the hardest things I ever did was say "I'm gay..." even on a message board for gays. Over time, though, the folks I met on the board really made a difference in my life. Until that point I had kept every "gay" thought, feeling, and emotion to myself. I was about to explode...you probably have a good idea how it feels, RoM.

At any rate, talking helps tremendously.

ah, bush, poor misguided soul he is. i don't hate the guy, i just don't agree with what he's doing. it's funny how you can promise freedom to everyone and then take away basic rights of marrige. that's our american system in action, though...
